| ROGER PHILLIPS TO VISIT NJMA!
Roger Phillips, photographer/author/naturalist, will fly in from England to pay a very special visit to NJMA on the weekend of July 26th and 27th. On Saturday, at 1:30 PM at the Frelinghuysen Arboretum in Morristown, he will make a PowerPoint presentation entitled “The Ecological Aspects of Protecting Fungi” On Sunday, he'll join us on our foray at Schiff Nature Preserve. Be sure to join us for both events! OTHER SPECIAL EVENTS IN 2008 Our annual Victor Gambino Foray, which has been previously held at PEEC at the end of June, is scheduled to take place this year from August 15 through 17 at the King's Gap Environmental Center in Carlisle, PA. This location received rave reviews from our members who attended last year's Eastern Penn Mushroomers' Helen Miknis Foray, and since we were scouting a new location for the Gambino foray, we settled on this location for its fine foray sites, great accommodations, and great food. You can download an application for the 2008 NJMA Victor Gambino Foray by clicking this sentence. (Adobe PDF Viewer or Apple's Preview required to view. Not recommended for dialup users.) Our annual mega-event, Fungus Fest, is coming up at the Frelinghuysen Arboretum on September 28th.
