THe FUNGI Kingdom workshop

The Institute for Field Naturalists is offering an all day fungi workshop taught by teacher/naturalist/NJMA trustee Dorothy Smullen.  It will cover all things “mushroom”.  Using keys and field guides, trail walks and power point presentations she will cover the basics of identification and the importance of fungi for the ecosystem and the future.
Time: Saturday October 19, 2024, 8:30 am to 4:00 pm
Location: New Jersey Audubon Scherman Hoffman Wildlife Sanctuary, 11 Hardscrabble Road, Bernardsville, NJ in Somerset County.
​Preregistration required by Oct. 16 , 4:00 pm. No walk-ins allowed. To register go to  NJ Audubon $75 NJ Audubon members, $95 non-members, Limit: 15 people. Professional Development certificate available​.
