ICSEM12 - Aug 3-7 2026 Myxomycetes

The international conference on myxomycetes, ICSEM12 is being held in the US, right here in Jersey City, NJ on August 3-7 2026.  Register now here. It is being hosted by St Peters University. Researchers and enthusiasts from around the world will gather to share research, field experiences, and networking opportunities celebrating the diversity and excitement of myxomycete research. The Keynote  speaker is Stephen L Stephenson who basically wrote 'the books' we use on the subject and the landmark reference Myxomycetes: Biology, Systematics, Biogeography, and Ecology Myxomycetes are often mistaken for fungi.

Registration for the Connecticut Westchester Mycological Association (COMA)  46th Clark Rogerson Foray for September 4 to September 7, 2026. is now open. This year it will be at Berkshire Hills Eisenberg Camp in Copake, NY

May 29-31, 2026 - NJMA's Victor Gambino Foray - A weekend foray tradition for NJMA members to get to know each other and meet new members while casually reviewing the world of fungi.  There will be evening presentations and forays. Location: Kirkridge Retreat and Study Center,  Bangor, PA. More info under NJMA Members Only section. Must preregister by May 1, 2026.

NJMA SPRINGs into 2026

 April 2026 brings members a Culinary Group dinner and cultivation works shops on Mushroom logs and growing Wine Caps. May 2026 starts off the in-person foray season for the first time in south NJ  in Cumberland County.  At the end of May, the members-only NJMA Victor Gambino's Weekend trip to the Poconos returns this year. June 2026 begins the regular in-person forays in Monmouth County. Is you cannot wait to foray with us, members can join us every Tuesday Night on zoom to share their local finds year round.

NEMF- Ristich Foray July 30 - AUG 2, 2026

NEMF's Samuel Ristich Foray will be on July 30 - August 2, 2026 in Mont Alto, PA. The host clubs New Jersey Mycological Association, Philadelphia Mycology Club, Eastern Penn Mushroomers, and Central Pennsylvania Mushroom Club have a all-star cast of lecturers and fantastic forays are planned.   Registration is now OPEN.
